The Rab Microlighter Jacket is a versatile, year-round insulation layer built to handle everything from cool summer evenings to winter layering systems. Lightweight and low-bulk, it’s designed for active mountain use, whether you’re hiking, climbing, or fastpacking.
Instead of traditional loose-fill down, the Microlighter uses advanced TXdown® down-infused sheet insulation. This sits flatter against the body, reducing bulk and making it easier to layer under a shell, while still delivering reliable warmth. The construction also improves compressibility, allowing the jacket to pack down small for easy transport.
Highly breathable, it performs well during high-output activities, helping regulate temperature when you're on the move. The outer fabric is Pertex® Quantum with NetPlus®, made from recycled fishing nets, offering a windproof, lightweight, and durable finish. Built as a dependable grab-and-go layer, the Microlighter is ideal for a wide range of mountain adventures.
