The Salomon SHIFT ALPHA BOA® 120 is a high-performance freeride touring boot built for skiers who demand powerful downhill precision without sacrificing uphill efficiency. At the core of its performance is Salomon’s FreeSpine™ construction, which rigidly connects the cuff and shell to maximise energy transfer, eliminate flex loss, and provide exceptional control on steep, technical descents. When switched into walk mode, the boot unlocks a natural range of motion, making long ascents and skin tracks more efficient and comfortable.

The Exobelt™ combined with the BOA® Fit System replaces traditional lower buckles with a precision micro-adjustable wrap system. This ensures even pressure distribution around the foot, superior heel hold, and a fully customisable fit that stays consistent in changing terrain and temperature conditions.

Inside, a high-performance freeride liner system works with Custom Shell™ HD heat moulding to deliver a personalised fit that balances comfort and responsiveness. • Midgrip sole: A Contagrip® piece between the toe and heel and GripWalk pads improve the boot's grip in difficult terrain such as a rocky summits, ice and other uneven surfaces.
• Polyurethane: A material with consistent density that ensures perfect wrapping, reliable progressivity and good power transmission.

• Polyolefin + PEX: A blend of Polyolefin for durability, lightness, and stability, and cross-linked polyethylene (derived from recycled water pipes) for more rigidity without added weight.
• Freespine: This extremely sturdy plastic bar on the back of the boot links the cuff and lower shell to add a layer of reliable alpine progressivity to your freeride comfort.
