The Rab Women’s Ascent Down Sleeping Bag (-6°C) is designed for comfort-focused trekking and backcountry use, offering dependable warmth and practicality without unnecessary weight or bulk. Built for regular mountain adventures, it delivers an excellent balance between insulation performance, comfort, and packability.
Filled with 650 fill power European duck down, this sleeping bag uses an efficient baffle construction to maximise warmth while keeping overall weight under control. The women’s-specific wide mummy shape provides extra room for comfort compared to more technical alpine designs, making it ideal for trekking, backpacking, and extended trips where sleeping comfort matters.
A windproof Pertex® Quantum outer fabric helps reduce heat loss from cold air exposure while maintaining a lightweight feel. Hand-filled in the UK, the down has never been pre-compressed, preserving maximum loft and long-term insulation performance. Durable, versatile, and built for repeated use, this sleeping bag is a reliable companion for cool alpine and mountain conditions.
