Ultra Raptor II Mid Leather GTX is the leather upper version of the Ultra Raptor II Mid model, it is ideal for fast hiking and excursions with light loads. The Nubuck leather uppers are reinforced with compression lines that guarantee foot wrapping and high stability. Abrasion resistant and breathable, it is perfect for hiking use. Waterproof and breathable thanks to the GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane. The soft Comfort Collar protects the ankle from the entry of stones or mud and integrates the easy-fit spoiler for maximum ease of fit. The rear stabilizing heel allows perfect control on the crossbeams. Ultra Raptor II Mid Leather GTX is also available in a wide-fit comfort version dedicated to hikers with wide feet. FRIXION BLUE:

FriXion® compound is the result of extensive R&D aimed at creating outsoles with parameters of grip and durability that respond to all types of use and terrain.

EVA - INJECTED

Highe degree of cushoning and high elasticity of the fabric. These features assist “push off” during the propulsion phase while running, making these models who use injected midsoles, ideal for use on off-road trails. Furthermore, EVA Injected midsole drastically reduce the “squash” effect of the EVA over time, allowing the product to mantain the same features for its entire duration.

ORTHOLITE HYBRID:

The models use the exclusive eco-friendly La Sportiva insoles by OrthoLite® Hybrid, made using 20% recycled material from the production process. These insoles are designed for both men’s and women’s feet and the thicknesses and materials differ to suit the weight of the average user.

• Eco-friendly and washable: they contain recycled rubber and are machine-washable.
• Maximum wearing comfort thanks to the insole ventilation and the highly breathable PU foam cells: the foot is always dry and kept at the perfect temperature.
• They facilitate the wicking of sweat thus keeping the foot dry.
• Enhanced durability thanks to the anti-compression technology which keeps material compression down to less than 5% over time.

IMPACT BRAKE SYSTEM:

The innovative system is applied to the sole to absorb negative ground impact, help traction and improve grip downhill. Created and developed by the R&D department at La Sportiva, it offers real advantages during racing by reducing negative ground impact. The unique position of the lugs allows as many of them as possible to come into contact with the ground, for maximum impact absorption.

GORE-TEX:

Shoes engineered with GORE-TEX Extended Comfort product technology are designed for indoor and outdoor use in moderate and warmer conditions or during higher activity levels.
