Legendary status can only be achieved through years of consistent greatness. For over a decade now, the Cochise franchise has continuously raised the bar in the hybrid ski boot category. Bringing Tecnica’s proven fit-and-performance-above-all ethos to the walking world, the Cochise HV 130 is a full-gas 4-buckle alpine boot combined with the versatility and walkability of a touring boot, designed specifically for freeriders with high-volume feet. The C.A.S. shell and liner provide for the best out-of-the-box fit and industry-leading customization capabilities for those whose feet just need a little more work, and a roomier 102mm last is perfect for wider feet. A reimagined T-Ride walk mechanism adapts the tried-and-true tech from our Zero G line to be more freeride-oriented for maximum downhill performance and exceptional walkability. Whether you’re slinging the sticks over your shoulder for a short boot up the ridge or setting out on an all-day mission, the Cochise HV 130 is the go-to boot for freeriders, ski patrollers and high-performance alpine skiers alike who need one boot to do it all, in-bounds and out.
FEATURES:
C.A.S. SHELL
The C.A.S. Shell has an anatomical shape that matches the shape of the foot. This allows for a better out-of-the box initial fit. The dimples on the shell offer less surface tension and facilitate heating, making customizing the shell easier. The shell retains the new shape better and longer.
SHELL FEATURES
- Anatomic and precise shape
- Easier and faster thermo-forming
- Easy customization
SHELL CUSTOMIZATION
- PUNCHING (INCREASE VOLUME) Only using Tecnica C.A.S. Pro tool system
C.A.S. LINER
C.A.S. has revolutionized ski boots with regards to fit and personalization. The liners are anatomically shaped for optimal comfort and offer great heel hold. The internal part of the liner is shaped to match the foot while the exterior matches and conforms to the shape of the shell. The dual density micro-cell material is durable and easy to customize. The C.A.S. liners are less prone to pack-out maintaining the fit over a longer period of time.
LINER FEATURES
- Anatomic and precise shape
- Dual density pre-shaped thermoformed microcell material
- Great out-of-the box fit
- Enhanced sensitivity
LINER CUSTOMIZATION
- THERMO-SHAPINGLiner in the oven: 80°C-176°F / 8 minutes.
- PUNCHING (INCREASE VOLUME)Microcell material can be heated and punched in problem fit areas.
- GRINDING (INCREASE VOLUME)Microcell material is easily grindable up to 2 mm in problem fit areas.
- FIT KIT (DECREASE VOLUME)Glue the C.A.S. Fit Kit pre-shaped pieces to decrease the volume of the liner.
T-RIDE
HIGH PERFORMANCE WALKING SYSTEM
The T-Ride system is fully integrated into the boot design. It’s a solid cuff-to-shell connection which delivers the perfect combination between downhill performance and uphill hiking ability.
MATERIAL TRACIABILITY PROGRAM
QR will provide a precise description of all the materials used in the production of the specidic ski-boot, allowing a more precise and consistent regeneration of those materials.
This will result in better quality and more possibility to reuse in new ski-boots production.
ECO DESIGN
OLD FOR NEW
The ability to obtain regenerated material with homogeneous and known mechanical characteristics will allow a wider use of them in the production on new ski-boots.
POWER LOCK STRAP
The Power Lock strap provides perfect control and more precise power transmission. The hook eliminates the need to open the strap completely, saving you time.
QUICK INSTEP
Utilizes softer plastic over the instep area that allows the shell to open easier as you are entering or exiting the boot.
RECCO®
The RECCO reflector in this product enables rescue profes-sionals to locate you with RECCO detectors in the event of an avalanche accident or when lost in the outdoors. RECCO reflectors require no power and no activation to function. Multiple reflectors are recommended for optimal performance.
VOLUME CONCEPT
BEST FIT OUT OF THE BOX
Precise anatomical shape results in an accurate fit that offers more comfort and better performance. Mach1 starts with matching the anatomical shape of the foot. To guarantee the perfect fit matching every foot shape the Mach1 series is offered in 3 different volumes:
LOW VOLUME: 98 mm
MID VOLUME: 100 mm
HIGH VOLUME: 103 mm
ARCH GRIP
Toe and heel Vibram® rubbered soles are connected by the rubber Arch Grip that delivers more versatility in the daily usage. It supplies more grip on mountain terrain, on metal ladders, on snowmobiles, and so on.
FREE MOVE
The new hinge point allows frictionless hiking, so you can hike more with less energy.
SPOILER WITH FORWARD LEAN ADJUSTMENT
Whether it’s touring or high-performance skiing, with the wedge spoiler you can adjust the forward lean to get your boot just the way you want it. The Zero G Peak is delivered with a 13° forward-lean set-up, and the spoiler adds another +2° of forward lean. The ramp angle is 3.5°.
GRIP WALK
WHAT IS GRIPWALK?
GripWalk is a sole-binding interface system aimed to give excellent grip while walking on icy or snowy paths. The convex shape of the GW sole delivers superior walking comfort and grip on slippery surfaces.
Gripwalk soles are composed of a heel pad and a toe pad, that can be mounted and replaced separately.
When a GripWalk sole is mounted on a boot, the binding must be accordingly GripWalk compatible. Those can be identified by the original GripWalk logo on it. Conventional alpine bindings without the logo are not compatible with GripWalk soles.
