For the women out there who want to do it all, in resort skiing or backcountry exploring, but only want one boot to do it all in, take a look at the Cochise 95 W. The benchmark for fit and performance versatility in a hybrid boot, it offers a smooth and progressive 95 flex and a 50º range of motion in walk mode. Benefit from game changing details like the asymmetric design for solid power transfer to the edge, T-Ride walk mechanism that locks securely into place, Vibram Grip Walk soles for stability and traction while booting and transitioning and a light and easy to adjust 35mm power strap. Fit and comfort are just as important as performance, so features like the Quick Instep make it easier to get in and out of the boot, and the customizable, women's anatomical C.A.S. liner with a flexible achilles area for touring optimize your time on the hill. The Cochise 95 W will be there to explore the mountains.
FEATURES:
C.A.S. SHELL
The C.A.S. Shell has an anatomical shape that matches the shape of the foot. This allows for a better out-of-the box initial fit. The dimples on the shell offer less surface tension and facilitate heating, making customizing the shell easier. The shell retains the new shape better and longer.
SHELL FEATURES
- Anatomic and precise shape
- Easier and faster thermo-forming
- Easy customization
SHELL CUSTOMIZATION
- PUNCHING (INCREASE VOLUME) Only using Tecnica C.A.S. Pro tool system
C.A.S. LINER
C.A.S. has revolutionized ski boots with regards to fit and personalization. The liners are anatomically shaped for optimal comfort and offer great heel hold. The internal part of the liner is shaped to match the foot while the exterior matches and conforms to the shape of the shell. The dual density micro-cell material is durable and easy to customize. The C.A.S. liners are less prone to pack-out maintaining the fit over a longer period of time.
LINER FEATURES
- Anatomic and precise shape
- Dual density pre-shaped thermoformed microcell material
- Great out-of-the box fit
- Enhanced sensitivity
LINER CUSTOMIZATION
- THERMO-SHAPINGLiner in the oven: 80°C-176°F / 8 minutes.
- PUNCHING (INCREASE VOLUME)Microcell material can be heated and punched in problem fit areas.
- GRINDING (INCREASE VOLUME)Microcell material is easily grindable up to 2 mm in problem fit areas.
- FIT KIT (DECREASE VOLUME)Glue the C.A.S. Fit Kit pre-shaped pieces to decrease the volume of the liner.
T-RIDE
HIGH PERFORMANCE WALKING SYSTEM
The T-Ride system is fully integrated into the boot design. It’s a solid cuff-to-shell connection which delivers the perfect combination between downhill performance and uphill hiking ability.
MATERIAL TRACIABILITY PROGRAM
QR will provide a precise description of all the materials used in the production of the specidic ski-boot, allowing a more precise and consistent regeneration of those materials.
This will result in better quality and more possibility to reuse in new ski-boots production.
ECO DESIGN
OLD FOR NEW
The ability to obtain regenerated material with homogeneous and known mechanical characteristics will allow a wider use of them in the production on new ski-boots.
QUICK INSTEP
Utilizes softer plastic over the instep area that allows the shell to open easier as you are entering or exiting the boot.
FREE MOVE
The new hinge point allows frictionless hiking, so you can hike more with less energy.
VOLUME CONCEPT
BEST FIT OUT OF THE BOX
Precise anatomical shape results in an accurate fit that offers more comfort and better performance. Mach1 starts with matching the anatomical shape of the foot. To guarantee the perfect fit matching every foot shape the Mach1 series is offered in 3 different volumes:
LOW VOLUME: 98 mm
MID VOLUME: 100 mm
HIGH VOLUME: 103 mm
CELLIANT®
Celliant liner is powered by 13 thermoreactive minerals that convert body heat into infrared energy. Infrared penetrates deep into the tissue to increase circulation, oxygen and blood flow. This results in improved warmth, performance, thermal regulation and faster recovery. Lambswool offers additional insulation.
GRIP WALK
WHAT IS GRIPWALK?
GripWalk is a sole-binding interface system aimed to give excellent grip while walking on icy or snowy paths. The convex shape of the GW sole delivers superior walking comfort and grip on slippery surfaces.
Gripwalk soles are composed of a heel pad and a toe pad, that can be mounted and replaced separately.
When a GripWalk sole is mounted on a boot, the binding must be accordingly GripWalk compatible. Those can be identified by the original GripWalk logo on it. Conventional alpine bindings without the logo are not compatible with GripWalk soles.
