This is the alpine incarnation of our classic versatile softshell, with a slick, streamlined design and the features you need for vertical missions. It’s specifically developed to be worn with a harness or pack, with a chest pocket that’s accessible on the climb and an under-helmet hood. Built with breathable, wind-resistant fabric, the Borealis Alpine Hoody works to expel moisture and regulate your temperature as you quest upwards on windswept faces.

- The lightweight Matrix™ single weave nylon offers two-way stretch for total mobility on the ascent.
- YKK® front zip with chin guard.
- The low-bulk hood with elasticated binding seals out the wind and fits comfortably under your helmet.
- The elasticated cuffs ensure a close fit in high winds without adding unnecessary bulk.
- When you need to shed layers, stuff the hoody into its own chest pocket and clip it to your harness.
- Single-sided hem adjustment allows you to customise the fit while keeping weight to a minimum.
